The heavy duty lead free brass NOM 1/2 inch Press x 1/2 inch PEX A Expansion fitting adapter can create a union with copper and PEX pipes. The press end features an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring. Simply applying pressure from a pressing ProPress tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, watertight seal in seconds with no flame, solder or flux.
[QUALITY] This heavy-duty fitting is made with lead free highly dezincification/corrosion resistant brass and virgin EPDM press o-ring. The brass fitting is machined with high precision ensuring your press connections can be easily connected and leak free for years to come.
[EASY and QUICK INSTALLATION] In just seconds create a strong reliable water tight seal. Compatible with ProPress installation tool, installers can easily crimp the fitting with its attached inside O-ring onto the copper pipe in wet or dry conditions for a water tight and long-lasting connection. The EPDM O-ring and inboard bead creates a secure and tight seal when crimped. Fittings are compatible with most ProPress electronic hydraulic or manual tools. Joining wet connections is a breeze as this process requires no soldering, no glue or bonding agents. Use a cold expansion pex tool to clamp an expansion PEX ring onto the barbed PEX end. (PEX rings are not included).
